I woke up early this morning and took the bike to the beach. I must admit I was a bit nervous about how much the sceneary had changed since last time I was there... So I turned down the road that leads down to the beach and saw long walls that was buildt up behind the new hotels, so that noone could enter the area without being a hotel guest. My heat sunk, that was not nice at all... I continued bicykling to the end of the road and it ended at the compund where all the fishermen has all their boats and do handle the fish. For thsoe who has been there it is close to the coconut platantage part. I said Goodmorning to the fishermen and left my bicykle and my flipflops there.

Actually the view when stadning on the beach looking wasnt so bad, the new hotels are well fitting to the beach and most of them you can hardly see among all the trees and palmtrees. I took a walk, felt the sand between my toes, enjoyed the clear water and then took a lovely swim in the ocean - lovely.
One nice thing was that the beach cows are still present and they were standing glooming by the shore but was soon hushed away by a hotel guard. So I followed the cows back towards the fishermen huts to take the bike back. <
There I met a fisherman whom had been at Runis place the day before and he happily said goodmorning when he saw me. Later, when I told Runi that I met the "white haired fishermen" he told me that this man could take me for a boat ride around the bay - I say why not! So looking forward to that!

Went back to my room and then had breakfast. Its quite exciting becuase it sems I get different breakfasts every day. Today Akka (It means older sister but you call women you think is older than you for Akka) brought me a bowl with something warm and it looked like grey kaviar... Urgh... BUT I had to try it and it was sweet with some cardemum, cashew and fruits in it - very tasty. And I got some veeery strong coffe - nice.
<
It was very hot today so I had to lay down in the confy-chair and read a book for some rest.
<
This afternoon I met with Sanoon in his home, since he is a muslim and I would go to his home I dressed in Long jeans and a long blouse - I dont have to do that but the difference between me and the women in the house would be too much otherwise, I think. We had a very good and inspiring planning meeting and I so happy to be able to do stuff with him again!
Unfortunately the generosity is very big and you cant say no all the time, so had lots of different sweet bakeries and coffee and more sweets again... I met his wife and she is very cute and seems to be much fond of Sanoon, nice to see. She got very shy when she met me and I felt like a loud giant... The kids could not stop watching me... Hmm, What IS that creature? it seemed like they wondered.
<
On the way to Sanoon I stopped to change some money and whiel waiting for my rupiees a women suddenly was standing beside me saying quite loud something sounding like Hello. She bowed towards me... I said hello back, Then she said Hello again and banged her head against my arm and then dissapeared. I ask Sannon what this could be and his answer was - crazy person, not to worry. Ok, I dont. ;-)
<
Since the meeting was inspiring and we had lots to talk about time was flying and suddenly it was time for evening prair and the sun went down... BAck in the days this would have been catastrophe, and old habits of security thinking started, but we waited until evening prair was finished and then I went home. One of the kids joined me in the threeweeler looking very happy, very cute boy. It was his uncle driving me.
<
On the way I got a phonecall from Runi, he sounded abit stressed and asked if I was coming back soon - I said yes. Later I found out that they had bought fresh crab for me and was worried I would make it back for dinner. So my friends, I had crab for dinner and Im telling you - it was deliscious!!!!!!!
<
Tomorrow it time to get serious - I look forward to it!
